Skematic, a recently acquired business unit of FRT, is a rapidly growing startup providing a comprehensive compliance workflow management solution in the RegTech space. Primarily serving hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital firms since 2021, Skematic is breaking barriers to offer a solution that drives efficiencies for compliance teams navigating the ever-changing complexities of regulation in capital markets. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role supporting the Co-founder/Chief Revenue Officer in generating SQLs for sales success.
As a Business Development Representative at Skematic, you will:
- Drive revenue growth by generating leads and securing meetings, allowing our sales executives to focus on closing deals.
- Make a high volume of cold calls each day to prospects.
- Expand Skematic’s market share by seeking out opportunities and converting prospects into qualified leads.
- Set appointments for the Co-founder/CRO and track metrics and performance against set targets.
- Collaborate with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure the quality and quantity of all communications with prospects.
- Maintain a high level of competence using sales sequencing and CRM tools.
The successful hire will have a clear career trajectory to a Sales Executive position with the company.

While drive and passion are most critical, our ideal candidate also has:
- Previous experience in a high-volume outbound sales role.
- Experience working in Financial Services, RegTech, Compliance, or FinTech, particularly selling to those clientele.

THIS POSITION IS PREFERABLY BASED IN MIAMI, FL; HOWEVER, REMOTE WORK WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Salary: Base salary is experience-dependent and ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually (based in Miami) + a tiered commission structure (no cap).
