2021
A Vision for Change
After decades of working in compliance roles and building RegTech solutions, Brian Kesselman and Charles Steerman saw firsthand how compliance professionals were being underserved by existing solutions.
They envisioned a platform that would finally give compliance teams the comprehensive solution they deserved: one that could centralize the entire compliance function in a single workstation.
2022
Breaking New Ground
That vision became reality with Skematic’s launch in 2022. For the first time, compliance teams had access to a purpose-built platform that went beyond point solutions to address the core of their operations.
By transforming manual processes into digital workflows and bringing structure to scattered documentation, Skematic gave compliance professionals what they’d long been missing: a workflow management solution designed just for financial services compliance.
2024
Teaming up with FRT
FRT’s acquisition of Skematic in 2024 marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both companies. As part of FRT’s suite of financial services products designed to empower the middle office, Skematic can deploy meaningful innovations faster than ever before.
As a result, we’re able to deliver on Brian and Charles’ original vision: creating the first true Compliance Operating System for financial services.
