As an Account Manager, you will onboard clients and ensure the seamless delivery of Skematic’s services.
The Role:
As an Account Manager at Skematic, you will be responsible for onboarding clients, building and maintaining key relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining extensive industry knowledge. Specifically, you will:
- Onboard newly signed clients.
- Serve as the primary client service provider for your assigned clients:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients.
- Apply proven client service techniques, methods, and tools, coordinating service across multiple accounts, developing task schedules, tracking client requests, and managing progress through to completion.
- Document and communicate client priorities and pain points to internal teams.
- Maintain records of client, prospect, and partner visits, appointments, contacts, and activities in CRM.
- Be responsible for client satisfaction and retention.
- Become a trusted advisor to clients:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners, based on knowledge of client requirements and a commitment to value (value of counsel and expertise, solutions, and implementation expertise).
- Leverage extensive knowledge of the compliance space to provide guidance to clients on upcoming product releases, key industry topics, and best practices.
Our ideal candidate is:
- An experienced account manager with at least two years of experience in key account management within the financial services industry.
- Effective at driving successful business outcomes with clients and prospects.
- A highly skilled client manager, influencer, negotiator, and organizer.
- Self-directed and detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal administrative support.
- Highly collaborative, prioritizing teamwork and relationship-building across corporate functions.
- A naturally confident networker and relationship builder, able to foster strategic relationships both internally and externally, with the ability to lead engaging presentations.
- Experienced in identifying new business opportunities and increasing revenues from existing clients.
- Intellectually curious, with a passion for learning and a commitment to continuous growth.
